Ladies and gentlemen, it was a job well done for CR3 last saturday despite the scorching hot sun in the afternoon during the component training, many fell out. But, I urge and hope u guys would persevere on by standing tall and proud on the parade square, I believe you guys have the X factor which the others don't, so it is very important that you guys hydrate yourself during lunch breaks and the hotwash after the component training so as to not dehydrate.

Points to note for the actual full sequence run, coming in distorted dressing was not our fault, we were just merely following orders from Parade Sergeant Major (PSM) to stay compact, however, people in the first row please remind the people infront to keep their own dressing. March past will be the most important segment for us, so do look proud for that as we are marching past the president on the actual day! For that component, Madhan, your job and responsibility is the most important, i couldn't emphasis more on that, as you are the only one eyes front during the march past, you have the responsibility to keep the contingent in line and the correct pacing with the commander. But afterall, everyone has a part to play in this contingent to make it a good show, keep up the good work guys! Only 3 points for you guys to note during marching - DRESSING, HAND SWING & LOOK SMART!

Finally, i have receive good feedback from my friend who was present at CR3 last saturday, he told me he felt that scouts were more organised compared to the other UGs, this is a good comment, but we should not rest on our laurels, we got to keep up the good work and deliver a good show for NE Shows, Preview and Actual day! See you guys this saturday.

Updates on H1N1 Note to Parents/Guardians

Dear all NDP09 Participants,

In regards to H1N1, MOE has advised us to observe any travel advisories by MOH and to continue to review their travel plans, particularly to affected areas. The well-being of all students is of utmost importance to us.

Public events like the Asian Youth Games, the the National Day celebrations and the Formula 1 race in September will also continue as planned, Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan said on Monday.
http://www.straitstimes.com/Breaking%2BNews/Singapore/Story/STIStory_393938.html

For those of you who had gone travelling overseas with your parents/guardians or relatives. Thus, we would appreciate it if you could inform your parents/guardians to provide us a written letter or email of declaration to state the country and the period you have travelled for our record purpose. My email address: madelene.seow@gmail.com .

Third Note to Parents/Guardians on Influenza A (H1N1) on 25 May 09 was updated. Here the link to the Ministry of Education H1N1 website.
